Silk in Lyon, Silk Festival, was hosted in the majestic Stock Exchange Palace on 17 November 2022, for an edition full of news. After the growing success of previous editions, the largest silk event in Europe, will honor the city of Come in Italy.

After Japan and China, return to Europe with the city of Como.

Sharing a history, a heritage and an active economic activity, Como is intimately linked to the «ville lumière», or Paris. Looking for an ancient artisanal know-how on silk, Como is one of the main actors in the world of silk in Europe, and will be the focus of attention, like many new products this year.

The "Torcitura di Dolzago" and the Silk Museum of Como have showcased their know-how and have been able to discover the 5,500 visitors of the event behind the scenes of a creative and innovative industry. The public was able to appreciate the seriousness of Made in Como craftsmanship and its diversity, especially with the exhibition on ties.

For the fourth edition, the Silk Museum of Como provides an exhibition to highlight one of the most representative products of its know-how: the tie.

Until the end of the 20th century, European production of ties came for 80% from the province of Como.
